News from the Shelter
As you may have learned by now, our Santa Paws Festival was the best ever, raising almost $19,000 to benefit our cats.   Colorado Gives Day was also a huge success for our shelter cats as we raised  $69,790.  We thank you, our loyal supporters, for your generosity.

The litter of kittens we took in several weeks ago are really growing!  Spencer, Penelope, and JJ are still in foster care, and they will be available for adoption once they are bigger and have been spayed and/or neutered.

Cat Care Society serves more than our immediate area.  Recently we took in another litter of bottle babies who were found in a dumpster in Greeley.  They are so young that their eyes just opened last week.  It's unusual to have so many kittens at this time of year, and we think it may be due to the unseasonably warm weather we have been having.  They will be in foster care until they are adoptable.
December Adoption Promotion

Every one of our shelter cats would love a home of their own;  a home like one they may have had before and lost, or the home they never had.  Each cat has written a letter to Santa expressing his or her wish for a family.  The holidays are a wonderful time to give a loving animal a home.  We have adoption promotions on all of our cats during December.  Please come in and see if your special friend is here waiting for you!

Please visit our Facebook page for more information.

Visit our website to view all our cats available for adoption.

Note: our standard adoption  screening process applies to this promotion. Further, for cats age ten and older and cats with chronic medical problems we offer our Perpet-U-Care Program which provides
$250 of veterinary care services at the CCS Cat Clinic annually.

Opt to Adopt Cosmo
Cosmo is ready for her forever home!  Cosmo is a 15 year old lady who is ready to find a lap to nap in for the rest of her days.  She is very outgoing and affectionate, and loves spending times with her human friends.  Although Cosmo gets along well with feline companions, she does not like dogs at all, and needs a home that is dog free.   Cosmo is FIV positive, has a sensitive digestive system, and will need to stay on a prescription hypoallergenic diet, as well as an oral steroid.  But she still has a lot of love to give to the right person!

Cosmo is part of our perpet-u- care program! Please click the link to find out more:

Nine Lives Legacy Society

As the end of the year approaches, many people do more estate and tax planning for the current tax season and the coming year.  The Nine Lives Legacy Society offers a way to plan for the future, ensure that your beloved cats will be cared for, and benefit Cat Care Society at the same time.

Our Nine Lives Legacy Society was established to give individuals and families the opportunity to partner with Cat Care Society ... to ensure that the cats in our care live all of their nine lives.

We invite you to become a member of the Nine Lives Legacy Society by naming Cat Care Society as a beneficiary in your will, living trust, life insurance policy, pension plan or charitable trust.

The Hallway Cats at
Cat Care Society
Because we have so many cats who reside in the hallway, we were only able to introduce you to some of them last time.  Here are photos and some information about the rest of the hallway residents:

Bella is a sweet female who loves to be petted and scratched, especially when she is upside down!  Bella is also Queen of the Ornament Drive!
Alexander is a senior male tabby.
Harvey is a sweet adult tuxedo.
Sue Sioux is the official mascot of CCS; a beautiful senior tortoiseshell.  She needs to be the only kitty in the home.

Annie is a playful teenager who loves chasing things and being held by humans.
Trinity Taylor is an adult male who came to Cat Care after being abandoned.  He would love a caring home again.
Ilari, an adult male, came to our shelter when his human lost his housing.  Ilari is more comfortable with men right now.

Christmas Ornament
Donation Drive

We are happy to report that all of our shelter kitties have been sponsored with Christmas ornaments.  The shelter Christmas tree is now bedecked with the beautiful handmade ornaments bearing each cat's picture.

The second phase of the drive is now complete also -  Bella and Elizabeth tied for 1st place and both were crowned Queen!  This is a wonderful tribute to dear Elizabeth whom we lost last year.
