Catholic Identity
Today is one of my favorite days of the year - the decorating of the Christmas tree in the rotunda. Our students met their buddies and spent some time together creating ornaments for the tree. Then our older students helped the younger students pick the perfect spot on the tree for their ornament. It was very sweet. After decorating the tree, we enjoyed our special treat from St. Nick, we were so glad he made a special late stop to fill our shoes, it was all very exciting.
This Advent, we are also helping to fill stockings for the Catholic Action Center to give to folks who will be spending Christmas in the shelter. If you would please send in the following items to help us fill our stockings:
Grade 8 - adult socks Grade 5 - adult gloves Grade 2 - 2 Christmas stockings per student
Grade 7 - adult socks Grade 4 - adult winter hat Grade 1 - $5 gift card to McDonalds
Grade 6 - adult gloves Grade 3 - adult winter hat Kindergarten - $5 gift card to McDonalds
Preschool - adult size winter scarf
The Catholic Action Center was very specific in what we could put into our stockings so please send in the items on this only. The students will be stuffing the stockings on December 13, 2017.
