ATTENTION parents and teachers: 
Monday, December 11 is the last day to order Visiting Author books to have them autographed/ personalized and delivered for gifts BEFORE the winter break. 
 
HONORING OUR HEROES 
Honoring Our Heroes is a writing program that encourages students to discover, honor, and write about real life heroes, role models displaying generosity, trust, persistence, dedication, leadership, creativity, caring, bravery, imagination, service, gentleness, courage or compassion. What a great opportunity to honor someone who may not even know what a difference they are making in your student's life! Deadline January 17, 2018

FAMILY BOOK CLUB WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS
Learn How to Support Your Children in Reading with our Foundation Funded Literacy Consultant, Jill Hawes

Focus: This workshop will focus on engaging your young readers by hosting a family book club! Learn how to create a wonderful shared reading experience that will help encourage a lifelong passion for reading.

When: Monday, January 8th at 8:30 AM-9:30 AM in the Learning Commons
