The Merrimack Valley Transportation Management Association has hired a new communications and program manager.
Gretchen Grosky will be working with area communities, property owners and businesses to promote the MVTMA's mission of easing traffic on roadways, helping the environment, boosting the region's economy, and making life a little easier for commuters by increasing awareness of existing opportunities for a shared commuting and exploring opportunities and developing enhanced commuting options.
"The MVTMA's goal is connectivity, getting you to and from work in less time, with less stress, and at less cost," Grosky said. "I look forward to working with members and our service area communities to create transportation solutions that will make the Merrimack Valley that much better a place to live and work in."
Grosky has spent much of her career working in the Merrimack Valley, including running her own media relations business, teaching at Merrimack College, and as managing editor for The Eagle-Tribune.
