Dear Clients, Supporters, Colleagues and Friends,
We were honored to be the speakers last month for the Colorado Arts & Crafts Society annual symposium. We had a wonderful trip and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated. Fellow Roycroft Artist, Julie Leidel and her family were incredible hosts and we couldn’t get enough of the beautiful scenery in their idyllic mountain setting (seen under snow in the
header photo above.)

Spending time at the Boettcher Mansion and sharing time with A&C Society members was a delight. We loved having an afternoon at Modern Bungalow getting to know new owners Matt and Danielle, and conducting private color consultations in the store. Our trip ended with a special treat -- exploring Denver’s historic neighborhoods with Robert Rust and a preview of the absolutely incredible Kirkland Museum. The museum opens in a new building in March, and it should definitely be on your priority list when you visit the area!
Since our return, we’ve been focused on catching up on projects for clients and have been gearing up for the 31
st
Annual Arts & Crafts Conference at the historic Grove Park Inn. We are looking forward to this festive and busy weekend where we get to see many of you! We will also be doing exterior painting presentations in the demonstration area throughout the weekend. See below for details about our program and consultations in NC.
Sincerely, Barbara and CJ

Bring good quality photos and notes about your goals and any challenges you are facing. For exterior projects, it is a good idea to bring photos showing the setting of your home (landscape, neighboring properties), roof, foundation, masonry, etc. We will guide you to an understanding of how many colors you’ll need to consider for your home, and will help you determine the color direction that is best for your home and personal goals.
For interior projects, bring photos of the rooms you want help with, and also pictures of adjacent rooms and spaces that will be staying the same.

Eliz Sickles and her husband Robert own two of our original paintings, purchased to commemorate special wedding anniversaries.
For Christmas, Eliz's mom (who is

our fine art cards) started their collection of our new prints! We

Learn More About Us: Emerging Spring
|
|
shortly before our 2016 relocation.
“
Emerging Spring
” is a hand-painted frieze of peonies & stylized trees, and is representative of the early blooming of the Spring season. It features a rich blue background with spring green, russet orange, with notes of pale pink and warm golden yellow. The imagery was inspired by the gardens surrounding the home.
