INFORMATION
Substitute Teachers Needed
There is a national shortage of substitute teachers and it's impacting children and school districts in Central PA.   If a school is short of substitutes the class of 25-30 children may be split between two other classes which means that 75-90 children may be affected.  Administrators may try to fill in for the class of 25-30 or other teachers give up their planning time and a series consequences result.  In each of these examples, children lose out on learning!  A+ Teachers (a division of Abel Personnel) is looking for substitute teachers.  Perhaps you can help by forwarding this information to people you know such as...
* A teacher who is on inactive status.
* A retired teacher who might be willing to work once or twice a month.
* Someone who has a BA/BS degree and cares about children, and would like to work with them.
* Someone who may be interested in returning to school in the education field.
* People in your church, synagogue, mosque or sport, social, service, or card group.
* A retired or retiring professional who would like to have an impact on the next generation.
* Someone looking for a career change.
* Individuals in your office who would be willing to use PTO to serve as a substitute teacher.

Substitute teaching is a flexible job and an excellent way to have an impact on children in our community.  Please see flyer here or contact Deborah Abel at [email protected] for more information.
