Join the Australian Women in STEM webinar to meet Day of STEM mentors and gain an insight into the challenges and opportunities for women leaders in STEM. Also discussed will be reources to use in the classroom to encourage girls into STEM.
To prepare for the webinar session go to the Day of STEM and run through the Women in STEM program. Topics discussed in the webinar include:
- How can we lead next-generation thinkers to gain Emotional Intelligence (EQ) while providing them with formal education?
- How much IQ and EQ are used in STEM fields?
- Students need to understand the importance of the cross-disciplinary nature of STEM and how success will result from a creative and innovative approach. How is this best taught in the classroom?
- What are the opportunities and challenges of being a Woman in STEM?
