The Peninsula Parent Speaker Series presents:

"Peaceful Parents, Happy Kids" with Dr. Laura Markham
Tuesday, February 6th at 7:00pm
San Mateo Performing Arts Center
600 N Delaware St, San Mateo

Are you tired of battling with your teen? Do you wish you knew how to get your teen to cooperate without yelling and threats? Are you trying to find the sweet spot between spoiling and strict?

Dr. Laura Markham gives you practical everyday strategies to help you raise a teen who WANTS to cooperate, by working with your child rather than trying to manipulate or control. No parent is peaceful all the time, but it's completely possible to create a more peaceful home where affection, connection, and humor help you resolve conflict happily, and where kids WANT to follow your lead. Community Corner: Used Eyeglass Drive

Used Eye Glass Drive ~ in Support of the Millbrae Lions Club

Most of us are fortunate enough to have health plans which allow us to swap out our eye glasses at least every two years.  So some folks may have an extra pair (or two) of unneeded prescription glasses at homes. If you do, and they are in good condition, please send them to school with your student and drop them off at the Main Office.  We are supporting the Millbrae Lions Club in their effort to help those less fortunate in our neighborhood who cannot purchase prescription glasses.  Thank you in advance!
