Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

Rev. Jim Warren continues his Epiphany series this Sunday at 9:00 and 10:15 a.m. with a sermon about, "The Reluctant Preacher."  Jim will teach us about Jonah, who at first refused to go to Nineveh, where God told him to go. He eventually followed God's call to Nineveh, and Nineveh was saved. Why are we reluctant to follow God's call?  Read the scripture here:  Jonah 3:1-5, 10

The Chancel Choir is preparing a meaningful gift of music, "Take My Life," with Keira Corbett directing at the 9:00 service.  With Holly Irvin away for the Youth Mid-Winter Retreat, Minji Will will be leading hymns.  At the 10:15 One and All service we will be amazed once again at the talent our band displays.  Gather in Fellowship Hall a little after ten, and ready yourself for worship with a bite to eat and a cup of hot coffee.

We need your vote!  Please stay after the early service or come early if you attend One and All.  There will be a Congregational Meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary to vote on the church budget, and YOUR vote is very important.  Thank you!

Gifts for Another Table:
This month we are collecting for Ministry and More.  Items needed:  canned fruits and vegetables, boxed meals (mac & cheese, Hamburger Helper), canned soup with pull-top lids, cereal, crackers, cookies, and peanut butter & jelly.  This is a fantastic food pantry that helps a lot of people!

Reminders
Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Contribute to Love Boxes and Share Addresses. We are preparing LOVE BOXES.   Please see the display in the Centrum near the Information Center for items needed.  If you have a college student or military personnel please send their addresses to the office (office@blmfcc.org) by this Sunday.  If questions ask Pam Yerkes or Mary Helen Haskell.

Check In on Facebook while you are at church.  And at the One and All service feel free to use your device for social media, to share photos and thoughts about your worship experience as it happens.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor.  Show folks around and help them with questions they might have.  Invite them to worship and/or to share fellowship over a cup of coffee or breakfast treat.  The bulletin is a great source of information for visitors, as is the Information Center.  Let's be a welcoming church!
