Student  Council Raises!

The Student Council of Lakeside Junior/Senior High School in Sibley, LA raised $1,150 for CancerCare this past fall. They fundraised by hosting  Pink Shirt Day, where  students could pay to wear a pink shirt and jeans instead of their school uniform. They also sold pink ribbons and tickets to whipped cream pie their teachers in the face. The student council was able to get other school organizations involved in the fundraising efforts, as well. We are so grateful for their creativity, their donation and their willingness to help!
