EXCERPT FROM
THE
PILGRIM
"The Nevers"
by Bryant Draycott

Never judge a book by its cover.
I just might have written that book.

Never say you can't.
Just say you would rather not.

Never let your feelings be hidden.
Never hide the fact that you care.
Don't say you did if you didn't.
Always take them up on a dare.

There are three roads in life.
The road to a better future.
The road to a disturbed past.
And the middle road, which takes you nowhere.

You live your life. I'll live the rest.
