Sharsheret Study Presented At National Conference

This November, Sharsheret was proud to present a poster, “Examining the Mutual Benefits of a Peer Support Program to Facilitate Adaptation Among Women Affected by Breast/Ovarian Cancer: The Sharsheret Experience,” at the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators Annual Conference, in partnership with Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The study found that “Sharsheret and its social workers are building the foundation for an intrinsically motivated, community-based, social support network and realizing its mission of linking together Jewish women, families, and communities impacted by breast and ovarian cancer.” To learn more about Sharsheret's studies, contact

Sharsheret California held its First Anniversary celebration at Robertson Art Space in Los Angeles on November 5th.
