NOVEMBER NEWS
November / 6 / 2017
Dear Forest Hills Family and Friends,

As you know, we have recently launched our newest program, the Forest Side Memory Care Adult Day Program. This program will offer caregivers the opportunity to provide their loved ones with quality daytime memory care services. Our first new member is anticipated to arrive in November, and we look forward to being able to serve our community through this expanded service.

Meanwhile, progress on renovations at Forest Hills has been substantial. Specifically, all food preparation activity has been transferred to our mobile kitchen and demolition in our existing kitchen is expected to begin today, November 6th. We anticipate re-opening our brand new kitchen in February 2018. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns about the renovation.

As always, it is my privilege to serve you and family members here at Forest Hills. Please do not hesitate to let me know whenever I can be of assistance to you.

Warm regards,

Mary Savoy, RN, MS, LNHA

September 2017 Ceca Award Winner
Glenda Theodore

Congratulations to Glenda Theodore on winning the September 2017 Ceca Award! Last month we celebrated the award at Forest Hills with some of the nice things residents had to say:

"It is my pleasure to nominate Glenda Theodore for this Ceca Award. Glenda is a tremendous asset for the housekeeping staff. She is trustworthy and caring. Additionally, she is cheerful, has good cleaning skills, works well with others and has positive communication skills. Thursday is sheet-changing and bed-making day for me; if I forget to put out clean sheets, Glenda knows where they are located. I always look forward to a good night's rest that she has made possible. Glenda keeps track of when my laundry items should be returned. One day, she informed me that my cotton blanket was being washed and that she would make sure it was back on my bed before she left. I so appreciate her thoughtfulness about how things look in my home. I appreciate that Glenda always informs me when she will be on extended leave as things are different when she is away. Glenda has kept my home neat and tidy for 4 years. Lucky me! I am blessed to have Glenda helping me. Glenda is a special treasure and would be a wonderful Ceca Award winner."

Thank you, Glenda, for all you do for our residents and our community!
