The Season of Giving
For the traditional annual Holiday Give-Back Campaign, CCMC is proud to coordinate a cooperative collection of peanut butter for the United Food Bank.

We've chosen to collect peanut butter because it is a wonderful source of healthy protein that does not require refrigeration. Please join us as we help to collect enough peanut butter to feed hundreds, if not thousands, of hungry children in 2018! Drop off donations to the Carriage House, now through December 23.
The Lifestyle Team needs volunteers for Polar Express. Do you know anyone looking for community service hours? Let them know we are looking for helpers for this fun family event. Proceeds from the event will go to support both the Power Ranch and Centennial Elementary Schools! Pick your volunteer times today.
Power Ranch Gives is hosting its Annual Giving Tree in partnership with A New Leaf. This non-profit organization services the entire valley with a substantial presence in the East Valley. The Power Ranch Gives team has selected to give two of the most skipped over groups among the giving season which is the men’s shelter and the sex trafficked teens shelter. Both groups are asking for necessities including socks, underwear, and clothes.

All items are due by December 9 and can be delivered to the Carriage House or at the Polar Express event near the train station. Gifts can be wrapped or unwrapped. Please include the tag with the present. If you have any additional questions, please contact the Power Ranch Gives leadership team Lisa Rich and Denise Siemen at powerranchangels@gmail.com
A friendly reminder for pet owners
As a reminder of the leash law, dogs must be on leashes at all times in Power Ranch as stated in the  Town of Gilbert  Code of Ordinances. We know many owners feel their dogs are well behaved or trained and don’t need to be on a leash. However, there are many residents that are fearful of dogs. You never know what might set off a normally well-trained animal. Please be considerate.

Pet owners must also pick up after their pets when taking them for walks. There are 54 dog stations throughout Power Ranch, to make this task more convenient.

If you are already picking up after your leashed furry family member, we thank you. Keep up the great job!
Landscape Update
Flower beds were filled in with any missing winter annuals, along with the application of a granular fertilizer and pre-emergent to help control future weed growth.

The renovation crew installed 200 plants, nine trees, 25 tons of new rip-rap, 50 tons of granite, and updated the irrigation at the project along the canal and streetscape on Pecos Road.

Post-emergent application to eliminate weeds was applied to areas throughout the Barn, Timbers, Grange, and The Knolls neighborhoods.

Storm drain debris was removed from the Willows common areas.

The Arbor crew completed the second round of tree trimming in the Villages this past week. The focus was on the trees close to homes.
Streetscape Tree Trimming
Four Peaks Landscaping is offering tree trimming service for streetscape trees in Power Ranch neighborhoods in conjunction with their common area tree pruning program. The streetscape is the area in front of your house between the sidewalk and the street that your irrigation waters. Trimming take place in January. Registration closes December 22.
Power Ranch residents delivered Thanksgiving baskets to House of Refuge. (Kristen Carter, Chloe Carter, Carson Davis, Abby Davis, and Teresa Davis)

House Paint Schemes Online
Time to paint your home? If your home has not been painted in 7-10 years, it's time. Find the perfect paint color at   www.mypowerranch.com . It is easy to select a pre-approved paint scheme and download an application without leaving your house.

Power Ranch residents receive a discount on Dunn Edwards paint (up to 37% off retail price), with account #188531-000 in store.

Remember, colors viewed on a computer screen or when printed may not be an exact representation of the actual pigment color. When matching is critical, please refer to original Dunn Edwards color chips as a reference.

Are you planning on painting your home? Please submit your Design Modification Application well in advance of your scheduled painting date. It can take up to seven business days to receive an approval, and waiting until the last minute to submit can result in a lost painting date or a missed deadline. You can submit up to 60 days in advance.
