The City, in collaboration with Metro, Metrolink, and Foothill Gold Line Authority, will be hosting an informational meeting to present the preliminary findings on a study that is assessing the potential impacts and benefits of eliminating the Claremont Metrolink Station.
On September 28, 2017, the Metro Board commissioned a study to assess the impacts and benefits of eliminating the Claremont Metrolink Station. City representatives have been working with Metro to make sure the community's interests are represented through the study process. The outcome of the study will impact commuters in Claremont and surrounding cities.

Claremont Restaurant Week, the city's showcase of its talented chefs and international cuisines, will take place January 12-21, 2018. The annual event will run for 10 days, including two weekends, to encourage foodies from all over Southern California to relax and unwind in Claremont.
