Caritas of Waco, is a non-profit charity organization founded in 1967 by the Austin Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church, but has been an independent ecumenical agency since 1979. They  offer food, clothing, household items, and travel to anyone, regardless of race, age, sex, ethnicity or location.  Caritas is supported through various faith, civic and service organizations, charitable foundations, area businesses and individuals.
Communities in School, Every child needs and deserves:  A personal, one-on-one relationship with a caring adult, a safe place to learn and grow, a healthy start and a healthy future, a marketable skill to use upon graduation, a chance to give back to peers and community. Their  mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Voice, is a  nonprofit organization that teaches healthy living skills, including how to avoid substance abuse. Since 1992, they have served children and their families, and have grown to reach over 65,000 individuals in nineteen counties each year.
