Dear friends of UC San Diego's LGBT Resource Center,
It is my pleasure to welcome Dylan Andretta as the new Programs & Operations Coordinator for UC San Diego's LGBT Resource Center! Dylan is a critical member of the professional staff leadership team, and brings experience from their time this fall in the interim role, as well as interning here at the LGBT Resource Center as the Bayard Rustin Intern for Activism and Education. Dylan's commitment to our community is significant, with strong attention to our trans, nonbinary and gender queer populations, racial justice, people with disabilities, and a commitment to social justice which infuses throughout all of Dylan's work.
As you may know, Dylan graduated from UC San Diego a few years ago, and was active in a number of organizations on our campus, most notably Fluid as the group facilitator. Dylan joins our team with a deep understanding of who we are and where we have been. Dylan begins the position immediately, so feel free to stop by and welcome them to the role.
