FIGHT AGAINST RISING HEALTHCARE COSTS
Have you received your 2018 Health Insurance Premium rates?

According to the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Outlook Survey, 74.8% of respondents mentioned that healthcare insurance expenses are a top challenge to remaining competitive.

Colorado manufacturing businesses recognize that providing healthcare coverage is necessary to attract and retain a talented workforce. But at what price to their bottom line?

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, the average annual cost for a family plan in the manufacturing sector in 2000 was $6,549. In 2016, that figure was $18,419.

While the final numbers aren't in yet, it appears the average rate increase for 2018 will be 12% for group plans and 27% for individual plans.

Adding insult to injury, did you see the editorial in the Denver Post last week entitled "The Health Insurance Tax that will HIT your Premiums"?  According to the Post, the Health Insurance Tax, or HIT as it is better known, "will cost large insurance companies $13 billion in 2018 and increase gradually every year until it reaches $21 billion in 2027".

When the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was developed, the thought was that, because the ACA was creating a captive market for insurance companies, they should help fund some of the costs of the ACA through their increasing profits.

If you believe that, I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you!

You know any tax paid by these insurance companies will be passed on to all of us in the form of increased premiums.

Are you ready for some good news now? CAMA can provide real savings to help you fight against rising healthcare costs.

I am pleased to introduce CAMA's Back Office.

CAMA's Back Office can save members 50% of their 2018 health insurance premium increase. Even if you have put your 2018 plan in place, just know,  it's never too late to take control of rising healthcare costs.

CAMA's Back Office is more than healthcare services. The payroll management can also save members 10%-15% of cost and includes providers that you are already using.

CAMA's Back Office helps take care of all the headaches of having employees so that you can focus on growing and improving your company.
