SchoolChoice is Easier and More Equitable in 2018-19
Equity is at the heart of SchoolChoice, and DPS believes all students should have access to quality schools, regardless of their background or address. That's
why the Office of Choice & Enrollment Services has made a few improvements to SchoolChoice for our families this year:
- The SchoolChoice window has been moved to February. The next SchoolChoice season opens Feb. 1, and applications are due by 4 p.m. Feb. 28. The new window gives our families more time to research schools, as well as finalize their living arrangements for the following school year.
- Families have access to a new online, mobile-friendly School Finder tool, which they can use to more easily search for schools and submit their SchoolChoice application -- all in one place.
- To make it more convenient to learn about our school options, Choice & Enrollment Services is hosting five regional school expos (rather than one large districtwide expo). These expos will take place the week of Jan. 22. Click here for all the details.

The DPS Foundation has kicked off I Give for Team DPS, the annual employee giving campaign. Participate by 5 p.m. Nov. 10 for a chance to win two tickets to the Dec. 10 Broncos game, courtesy of FirstBank!
Each year, hundreds of DPS educators support I Give for Team DPS and help the foundation support afterschool programming, early literacy, career pathways, student wellness and more. There are a number of ways to contribute or participate. Complete this form to have contributions deducted from your paycheck. Everyone who contributes through payroll deductions will have a chance to win a round-trip flight, courtesy of United Airlines.

Verify or Update Your Personal Information by Tomorrow
Don't forget to review the email you received from Human Resources on Nov. 1 that contained the demographic information that DPS has on file for you, including your address, personal email, phone number, emergency contact, race and ethnicity, as well as information on whether you have elected electronic delivery of your W2 and 1095-C tax forms.

these instructions to opt-in for electronic delivery of your W2 and 1095-C forms, which provides earlier access to your tax documents in an electronic format that can be accessed at any time. Updates to your personal information can be made year-round, but for federal reporting purposes, please make any necessary changes by tomorrow, Nov. 10. Also, note that if you wait to opt-in to electronic delivery for your W2 or 1095-C forms, you may not receive them electronically in 2018.

Earn a $250 Referral Bonus for Referring Teachers and SSPs
Help make Team DPS even stronger -- and receive a bonus -- by referring teachers and SSPs to work for DPS! We are looking for math, special education, ELA-S and diverse teachers, as well as SSPs including nurses, social workers, psychologists, teachers for the visually impaired, speech language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and counselors.
All current DPS team members can earn a $250 referral bonus for each person they refer who applies and is hired into one of the roles mentioned above. The more people you refer and are hired, the bigger your bonus! Start by completing this form.
