THANK YOU
Thank you for hosting a young Canadian for YOUth In Office.

Along with almost 100 of your fellow Members of Parliament from all political parties, you have inspired young people to be more engaged citizens by showing them democracy in action!
You made November 7 a day to remember!
On November 7, 2017, you gave 100 youth aged 14-24 from Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boys and Girls Clubs across the country the opportunity to learn about politics and the political process by job shadowing you and your incredible staff.

YOUth In Office is a one-of-a-kind experience where young people attend media training sessions, learn from the experiences of young Indigenous activists and Parliamentary Interns, spend a day with an MP, and attend Question Period in the House of Commons.

This year, YOUth In Office also included the reveal of Instagram’s #KindComments mural—the only one of its kind in Canada—by local artist @RollHerSleeves in downtown
Ottawa. Working with Instagram, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and Boys and
Girls Clubs of Canada are committed to fostering a supportive and kind environment where everyone can feel free to express who they are—including Parliament Hill.
YOU inspired young leaders across Canada.

YOU fostered a better understanding of the democratic process.

YOU shared experiences and had #YouthInOffice trending in Canada.

Thank YOU for bringing YOUth In Office to life! We'll see you in 2018.
