"From Grassroots to the Olympian & Paralympian"
The Coaches Association of Saskatchewan and the Sport Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan have partnered to host a conference on September 28 & 29, 2018 . "From Grassroots to the Olympian & Paralympian" - Integrating Sport Medicine and Science in the Development of the Athlete will be held at the Ramada Plaza in Regina. The conference will include keynote speakers, more than 20 breakout sessions, and a Friday evening social. Register today here

New Federal Funding for Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Anti-Racism Initiatives. The federal government announced three new funding streams that will strengthen diverse communities and support anti-racism initiatives across the country. The government is investing a total of $51.9 million over 3 years, which includes $21 million in new funding for community-led projects, events and capacity building initiatives.

Congratulations to all participants from the Prairie Central District who took part in the SSFA 55+ Provincial Games 2018 in Moose Jaw July 10, 11 & 12. RE-ORG: Canada (Prairies and North)
With  RE-ORG: Canada , Canadian Conservation Institute seeks to inspire a new generation of leaders in storage reorganization. Storage reorganization focuses on improving existing storage areas, not on planning and building new facilities. The fifth edition of RE-ORG: Canada targets museums from the Prairies and the North (Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan and Manitoba). Only museums from this region may apply. Deadline is extended to August 13, 2018





Creative Kids provides funding for Saskatchewan children and youth to participate in creative activities such as art, music, dance, theatre, and culture.
Creative Kids funding is:
  • based on a family’s financial need
  • open to Saskatchewan residents
  • available for children ages 4 to 19
  • for activities that are primarily artistic and/or cultural
Creative Kids may provide up to $750 for a child’s activity. If an application is funded, Creative Kids pays the instructor or service provider directly. Click here for more information - next deadline to apply is August 17, 2018
