PWP TO UPDATE ITS 20-YEAR BLUEPRINT FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

In the coming months, PWP will begin updating its 2018 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) through an open and collaborative process. The IRP is a 20-year blueprint for providing customers with reliable, environmentally responsible electric service at affordable rates.  The update will address how PWP plans to further reduce dependency on fossil fuels, balance the reliability of traditional energy sources with the sustainability of renewables, and much more.

The IRP is updated every three to five years, and will take approximately one year to complete. As the IRP is developed, PWP will host meetings to give updates on significant milestones. Continuous updates will be made to the webpage regarding the process, timeframe and opportunities for the community to participate.
