Greetings,

After a yearlong battle with illness, this past Sunday evening, Ann Lee, our dear friend and music director passed from this life to the next. As a congregation we grieve, but we are also filled with joy knowing she served the Lord and our church faithfully for so many years. In Matthew 25 Jesus tells us about the parable of the talents. It is a story about investing what God gives us wisely. Ann's life is a testimony to this type of faithful stewardship. Ann invested herself, her gifts, and her life in God's service. There are few of us who have given ourselves so fully and deeply into God's call on our lives. Ann will not simply be remembered, rather her legacy of faith, service, and music will be felt throughout our congregation, our community, and in the lives of so many who knew her.

A Celebration of Ann's Life, Love, and Music will be held on January 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary at First Methodist Conroe.

Moving forward faithfully,

Jeff Olive
Senior Pastor

In Memory of Ann Elizabeth Lee
October 9, 1953 - November 19, 2017

Ann Elizabeth Lee passed away peacefully this past Sunday in Conroe, Texas. Ann brought a light into our lives that will never be extinguished. Her involvement in church, school, theater, and community instilled the joy and love of music to so many people and at so many levels. She was a living treasure on this earth and will remain so in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her. Her love, legacy, and commitment to her church and community will live forever.

Ann was and is loved by her family and the many friends in Conroe and Taylor, Texas. She is survived by her brother, Randy M. Lee, and sister-in-law, Sherry, of Westlake Hills, Texas, and her loving and cherished nephew, Dallas A. Lee, of San Marcos, Texas. She also has many loving cousins across the country.
