Today, you are likely enjoying time with family and a good meal, but come Monday, it's back to business. For the Chamber, that means final preparations for our 2018 Legislative Preview Breakfast.

We take our role as the voice of business for Howard County very seriously, and events like the Legislative Preview Breakfast are essential to our advocacy efforts. We strongly encourage you to register for the breakfast to stay informed about key legislation that will have a real impact on your business.

The Howard County Delegation of the Maryland General Assembly, chaired by Senator Guy Guzzone and Delegate Eric Ebersole, will hear testimony from the public on drafted local bills at a public hearing the evening of our 2018 Legislative Preview Breakfast.

Tenable Announces New Headquarters in Downtown Columbia

Officials from Tenable, The Howard Hughes Corporation and Governor Larry Hogan have just announced that Tenable, a cybersecurity software company, will be expanding into a new 150,000 square foot headquarters in the Merriweather District in Downtown Columbia.

John DeWolf, Executive Vice President of The Howard Hughes Corporation says "Tenable is an ideal tech-sector anchor that aligns with our innovative vision for Downtown Columbia and our community-centered approach to business."

Tenable is expected to move into the new 150,000 square foot space in 2019.
