KIWANIS HOLIDAY LIGHTS PARADE- WALKERS/RIDERS WANTED!
Loyola will again be participating in the parade on Friday, 11/ 24. We are looking for volunteers to walk/ride on the float the night of the parade. This is a great way for your family to show its pride for Loyola! Grab your Santa hats, Christmas sweaters, etc. and meet us at the parade!
Parade participant drop off is at the corner of Rogers and Owen.You may not park there, it is just
for parade participants. Drop off is recommended before 5:15 PM because of increased traffic
congestion. See map for details!

CONGRATULATIONS, MR. LANDKAMER!
Congratulations to Loyola Activities Director John Landkamer for being recognized for the WHY WE PLAY Leadership Citation Award. This award recognized athletic and activity administrators for their leadership and commitment to education-based programs in their school community. Mr. Landkamer will be presented with the award on Saturday, November 25 as part of the MSHSL Prep Bowl and U.S. Bank Stadium during halftime of the Class AAAAA Championship Game which begins at 4pm. The presentation can be seen on Channel 45.
LOYOLA ROBOTICS
Loyola Robotics teams competed at the VEX tournament at Mankato East on Saturday.
Loyola had five middle school teams (35 students) competing. There were 23 teams total participating in the IQ division. Congratulations to A team: Emily Coudron, Teigyn Moore, Daniel Bergquist, Raiden Gruenzner, Mason Stoffel, Beth Ness, Joe Kollasch who placed second and received an invitation to the VEX IQ State Tournament in St. Cloud in February!
Special thanks to the middle school sponsors: Aluma, Southern Minnesota Orthodontics, Waco Scaffolding/Riverbend Rental, Buffalo Wild Wings, Theuninck Construction and Subway. And thank you to Kim and Rick Moore for the photos!
Loyola had three high school teams with 13 total competitors. Team 67593A, Ben Cahalan, Hunter Westman, Zabir Montazau, Alexa Pongratz, and Owen Casteel, was awarded special recognition from the judges. Judges consider a number of possible criteria for this award, such as team displays of special attributes, exemplary effort and perseverance at the event, or team accomplishments or endeavors throughout the season that may not fit under existing awards, but are nonetheless deserving of special recognition.

MSU HONOR BAND
Every year we send students to honor bands to give them opportunities to perform in large ensembles with other talented musicians and to work with great teachers and conductors.We are fortunate to have one of these honor bands take place in Mankato. This year the MSU honor band will include students from 35 schools, including 6 Loyola students!
