As we head into the holiday season, we at the VLP would like to share our sentiments of thanks to our VLP community including volunteers, supporters, clients, and friends who inspire us each and every day to strive to fulfill our critical mission to provide Brooklyn's most vulnerable residents with equal access to the legal system.

With your help, in the past year, the VLP:
  • provided direct civil legal services on 7,672 matters benefiting over 19,000 individuals and families from Brooklyn's poorest neighborhoods, assisting them to overcome life-altering legal challenges.
  • trained and supervised over 920 volunteer attorneys, law students and other legal professionals who provided over 12,000 hours of high quality, compassionate direct legal representation, advice and counsel, and community education throughout Brooklyn.
Thank you for your time, your support, and your fierce commitment to equal access to justice for all Brooklynites.  Together, we can accomplish so much more.
