November 2017: Giving Tuesday Special Edition!
The families we serve work so hard to improve their lives. When life throws them a curve ball - like  bed bugs, car troubles, or concern for a child's safety - it can be devastating to their progress.

But you can help! Your gift on Giving Tuesday, November 28th, will help provide immediate and emergency  needs for families who are working toward brighter futures. Please share and help us reach our goal of $1,500 for families in need!

Your support on Giving Tuesday will help families:
  • Overcome roadblocks during difficult times
  • Continue to make progress within their programs
  • Focus on reaching their goals
  • Feel supported when they need it most

"You Help Immensely"
Thanks to your support, Kaylee is prepared for a new chapter.
Crystal and Calvin's 9-year-old daughter, Kaylee, was being bullied at school.
"It's something that she's struggled with for a few years," said Crystal.
It was important to find a safer environment for Kaylee.  She is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has mental health challenges, including ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, PTSD, and severe anxiety.
"It Was Such a Relief"
Thanks to your support, Tina and Charlie have peace of mind.
Tina and Charlie are not the same people they used to be. Two years ago, they were drinking and fighting a lot, and didn't have any control over their kids. After an incident involving CPS, they decided to change their lives.
Now Tina and Charlie have been sober for over a year. They began working with Highfields' Wraparound Facilitator, Erika Phillips, to keep their family together, happy, and healthy.
Ever since Tina and Charlie became sober, they have struggled to regain control of their household and improve their children's behaviors.

"I Felt So Blessed"
Thanks to your support, Cailynn and her siblings can continue to heal.
Matt's three children have experienced trauma in their past. His 7-year-old daughter, Cailynn, is affected the most. She has severe behavior issues, lashes out, and runs away from her classroom. Her teacher recommended therapy for Cailynn, and Matt and his fiancée, Michelle, agreed that it was the right decision.
"Cailynn needs more extensive help," said Michelle. "We were all for it."
