Sunday, November 19, 2017, a blustery but gorgeous autumn day, was just perfect for a bus ride to beautiful Lancaster County.
A group of 88, sisters and several associates, boarded two luxury buses for the annual trip to the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA, to attend the Christmas Show.
The first stop was Miller’s Restaurant, a quaint Pennsylvania Dutch eatery, for a delicious all-you-can-eat smorgasbord. Then, it was back on the buses for the trip to the American Music Theatre to attend this year’s show —

Sister Sharon White SSJ
, was happy to share her experience of the day. “The musical performance was sacred from beginning to end. It was a marvelously inspirational opportunity to introduce the Christmas Season.” This was the first time
Sister Jane Field SSJ
attended. “It was really nice and the show definitely put you in the Christmas Spirit! I enjoyed everything about the day: the luncheon, the production, the bus ride and especially spending the day with so many sisters from the Villa. Their presence was special.”
Following the performance, the sisters once again boarded the buses for the ride home. Though a little tired from a full day, everyone was so grateful to all who gently, joyfully and compassionately made the outing possible.
