Township libraries will be closed by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, Thanksgiving Day, November 23, and the day after, November 24th. There are many on-line services available and we invite you to try them this week. One of favorites at this time of year is Flipster.
Flipster offers magazines on your tablet or smart phone. Back issues are available on mobile devices. Shop smarter online with Consumer Reports, a recently added subscription, with compliments of the Friends of Woodbridge Public Library.
Handcrafted Doll Exhibit
Main Library First Floor Exhibits

Local artist Pauline Perlman has shared the story, The Doll with No Face, an adaptation of Seneca Chief Everett Parker (1972), through a collection of handcrafted dolls. Visit the library in November to read the tale and see Ms. Parker's work, which has been on a tour of schools and libraries across the State of New Jersey.
Woodbridge Garden Club (WCG) announces the winner of the Woodbridge Adopt a Critter poll!

Polls have closed, and the winner is...
the ruby-throated hummingbird. Runners up are the northern oriole and swallowtail butterfly. WCG member and Adopt a Critter program coordinator Ileana Balcu invites the community to watch for news of educational programs in the new year.
Community support opportunities at Woodbridge Public Libraries

Township libraries are a point of collection for new or lightly used coats, jackets and any other warm apparel--an annual effort of the Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy. The Main Library collection box for the Rotary Club is on the second level of the Main Library. Thanks to all who have made donations.

Want to make a difference in your community and earn service hours? Join the Woodbridge Public Library Teen Advisory Group! We get together to plan and approve library programs, find out about volunteer opportunities, come up with ideas for library purchases, and generate library support.

Woodbridge Libraries Are Now Members of
Reciprocal Borrowing Group MURAL
Woodbridge Township library cards are accepted in nearly fifty Middlesex and Union County libraries to borrow materials. Municipal libraries are generally open to public use, but through the  MUtual Reciprocity Among Libraries Agreement (MURAL), a Woodbridge Township Library card will be welcomed for lending and additional services determined by each library.  More details and contact information are available on the WPL home page.
