The Bible as Literature
Tuesday, November 28 at 11:30 am
Rabbi Reiser will guide us in studying the Book of Jonah and the Book of Esther, with an eye towards their literary characters and to discover the complexities of motive and ambiguities of each that are essential not only to good literature, but to the human experience. Next class is December 5. 


Kickboxing with Omer
Wednesday, November 29 at 9:30 am
Work-off the holiday meal with Omer for a weekly workout of Israeli-style kickboxing, while listening to Israeli music and learning some Hebrew. All are welcome. No registration required. Next class is December 13.

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Reform Judaism

Aging Well Series - Memory Care for Yourself and Your Loved Ones
Sunday, December 3 at 10:00 am
This final session will be a conversation about cognitive issues that can be normal age-related changes or those that reflect a real memory disorder. In addition, an elder law attorney will be discussing how to have difficult conversations among family members.  Click here for more information .

iSing Shabbat - K-4th graders and their families
Friday, December 8 at 6:00 pm
A service consisting of 30 minutes of soulful music led by clergy, projected sing-a-long lyrics, and candle lighting. There will be Israeli-style and kid-friendly food for families. Please RSVP to Suzanne.Saperstein@wrtemple.org.

Children's Community Chanukah Choir Concert

WRT sponsored Social Action Volunteer Opportunities

Holiday Party at the Children's Center for Learning in New Rochelle.
Volunteers are needed at a Head Start program for needy pre-school age children, between 9:00-11:45 am and 12:45-2:15 pm, to help run arts & crafts activities. Contact Debbie Radov at djradov@aol.com.
WRT Chanukah Celebration for Developmentally Disabled Adults.  Volunteers are needed at the Temple from 6:30 to 8:30 pm to set up and help oversee this event. Contact Fran Zimbard at qmrs@optonline.net.
