MEN'S REPAIR MINISTRY M25:40 New Beginnings Lutheran Church is developing a Home Repair Team that handles basic repairs and small projects for people in God’s Family who have a need. We can use all levels of skill or come and learn a new one. Please contact Rich Gegg at 217-621-4288 if you are interested.

MS HIGH SCHOOL MADRIGAL SINGERS Next Sunday we will have the joy of the MS High School Madrigal singers in worship with us. They will be singing several songs they are preparing for the Madrigal dinner this year. We are grateful for the blessing they bring to the worship services of the churches they visit in Mahomet.

HELPING CHILDREN IN MAHOMET The Christmas Helping Hands ornaments are available in the Narthex. Each ornament lists a child by gender and age. Feel free to pick up an ornament and the instruction sheet. The gifts can be returned here and we will get them to First Baptist Church for sorting. Thanks for helping children in Mahomet!

ADVENT The Advent Wednesday worship this year will be at 7:00 p.m., starting Wednesday, November 29th. The theme is: Together in Advent. In the series we will celebrate together as the family of God the coming of His Son for our salvation. The theme verse for the series is: "Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy Name and glory in Your praise." (Psalm 106:47). Week 1; Be Present. Week 2: Send Peace. Week 3: Share Joy. Week 4: Wrap in Love. Plan to come! The Wednesday evening Advent offering will be given to the NALC Disaster Relief and the Champaign County Christian Health Center. Go to ccchc.2003.org to learn more about the Champaign County Christian Health Center, which offers free healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured.

YOUTH GROUP ASSISTANT NEEDED B.O.B Youth Group is looking for an assistant to help with our program. This is a great opportunity for someone that enjoys being with kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade to help with our after school program each Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:45. We have snacks, bible studies, crafts and special outings. If you are the person we are looking for contact Cheryl Heinold at 586-4794 or cheinold@aol.com.
