STAY FIT AND JOLLY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

With the holidays fast approaching, it is important to have a plan in mind for dealing with temptations. Our Maintain – No Gain program starts November 23 and will give you the support and incentives you need to make it through the holidays without weight gain. Members, who weigh in by November 23 will receive E-mails providing weekly advice, tips, and opportunities to stay active. No weight gain at the final weigh in enters you to win one free session with a Y Personal Trainer! For more information please check our website.

FOR A TIME OUT 

The  Midday Get Away  is back! On Friday, Nov. 27, leave your children with our wonderful Kid Zone staff, and you can get out for the afternoon. We will watch, entertain, and play with your children in Kid Zone and the Youth Gym. For more information please check  our website .

SHAPE UP FOR THE HOLIDAYS 

Don't put your fitness goals on the back burner this holiday season. Enjoy the holidays and crush your goals with our 25 Days of Fitness program. The program starts November 30 and is designed to encourage you to try multiple classes and workouts. Upon registration, members will receive a punch card with 12 activities. Once you complete 10 different activities, turn it back in for a chance to win one free program session of TRX! For more information please check our website.

HELP FOR THE HOLIDAYS 

Our Santa’s Helpers program (for kids, ages 1-12) runs December 2 from 2pm-7pm. This program allows parents to prepare for the holidays while knowing their children are being cared for at the YMCA. Kids can expect to swim in the pool, enjoy games and activities in the youth gym, participate in crafts and Christmas decorating, and so much more. For more information please check our website. Our Youth Basketball program (for kids, ages 3-12, grouped by age) runs December 5 through January 4. This four-week program teaches the fundamentals and rules of basketball in a safe, supportive environment. For more information please check our website.

RING IN THE SEASON WITH OUR CHRISTMAS PRAYER BREAKFAST 

The YMCA of Saginaw invites you to join us at our Christmas Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday, December 6th at 7:30am. Ring in the holiday season with breakfast and a morning of music, scripture, and prayer. This is a free event, open to all community members. Space is limited. VOLUNTEER AND MAKE 
A DIFFERENCE 

Do you want to make a difference in the community?  Mentors are needed for the Y Youth Basketball league , for kids, ages 3-12. You do not have to be good at basketball; just enjoy the game and guiding youth. The program begins Tuesday, Dec. 5 and you can find all the details on our website.  Sign Up to Volunteer!

DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITH YOUTH AND BEING ACTIVE? 

We are looking for staff who can work with youth from ages 3-18 years. Programs can include but are not limited to youth sports, after school enrichment programs, summer day camps, offsite outreach programs, youth feeding program and more. The Program staff assists in all aspects of the program experience including set-up, program implementation, and teardown. This position will require some early morning hours, evening and weekend responsibilities.

Salary: $8.90-9.50/hour
