Jazz Vespers is on the first Sunday of Advent, December 3 at 5PM in the Cook Prayer Chapel. This month's Jazz Vespers is a special Christmas-themed vespers featuring the Jack Lantz Little Big Band - with 7 players in close-up intimacy and informal worship. Join us for a time of joy, energy, meditation and liberation, as the 7-tet presents the music of Christmas in an upbeat jazz-style.
Christmas Market offers a selection of "alternative gifts" that provide for the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of at-risk children, the homeless, refugees, and other people in need. Buy gifts that make a real difference in our local communities and around the world!
Congregational Care Ministry Support Team is hosting another opportunity for our LCPC "anchors" (retirement-age folks) to gather over lunch for inspiration and fellowship with one another. Special Christmas music with our own Diane & Kendall Wallace. Guest speaker, LCPC born and raised, Rev. Doug Edwards.
The afternoon will start with a free Children's Choir concert followed by family time with: cookies, hot chocolate bar, craft designed to guide you through the Christmas story as a family, and family photos with photographer Sarah Mariel. Cost is $20/family. Sign up by 12/3 with [email protected].
Concert is family-friendly and features familiar carols for all! We are looking for World War II informal and formal soldier photos from the LCPC family. Please forward photos, along with the name, branch and rank of the soldier, to Kim Barker at [email protected] or via the LCPC church office.
