Among many developments and milestones this year, one of the most exciting has been welcoming three former Teen Leaders back to our staff, bringing our total to four.
Diego Maldonado and
Kevin Smith are both familiar faces at Ceres Cafe, where they prepare and serve beet burgers, frittata, chicken pesto sandwiches and more with friendly smiles and efficient service. Both are continuing their studies at Santa Rosa Junior College, where Diego is exploring Nutrition and Dietetics along with Animal Science.
Rosa Lubin-Molina joined us in June as Program Assistant, after graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz. You'll find her at our Santa Rosa and San Rafael sites, working closely with teens in the Meal program and supporting our cafe and catering service.
Our newest hire is
Luke Lindenbusch. His role as Development Associate includes fundraising, database management and support of our Affiliate Partner program. Luke is a graduate of New York University's Gallatin School, where he studied Public Health.
Youth have always been at the core of our mission at Ceres. We strive to provide a place for them to grow and blossom into the capable young leaders our world needs, and we seek to make them active participants in decisions affecting our youth programming.
It's been an exciting and natural evolution to welcome these dedicated and inspiring youth to our staff.
The experiences we offer to youth at Ceres are unique, and have the power to shape participants' future careers, interests and health.
Your donations make these programs possible. And because of our unique model, every dollar you donate empowers youth and provides healing meals to our neighbors in treatment for a serious health ailment like cancer.
This holiday season, please donate generously to support our clients and youth. If you've already given this season, thank you! Together, we can touch and transform lives, one teen, one client, one healing meal at a time.
