What is Winter Gathering all About?
January 16, 23 & 30

WHO?
All Carmel women!

WHAT?
Gather around tables together with open Bibles to learn from passages in 2 Timothy and make new friends. This is NOT a Bible study  and there is no homework.

WHEN?
The last 3 Tuesdays of January - January 16, 23, and 30 - from 7:00 - 8:30pm.

WHERE?
Carmel Worship Center (come on ladies - let's FILL it up!)

WHY?
So that women from all generations at Carmel can gather to learn from and strengthen one another, engage in community together, and grow in relationship with Jesus and one another.

Three Services:   9:30am, 11:00am, 2:00pm

Two Venues
: 
Experience the service from either the Worship Center or Student Auditorium.

One Celebration:  Pastor Alex will teach portions of his message live from each location. And the same music will be live in both venues. After worship, enjoy fellowship over hot chocolate and cookies. ALL children will join their parents for Worship! Coloring books and crayons will be available, as well a cry room with live feed of the service.

FINAL Midweek of 2017
  • Supper is a fridge/cooler clean out and served from 4:45 - 6:30pm. Discipleship training for all ages follows. Complete details  here . 
  • Carmel Students host marriage-themed Parent Round Table led by Pastor Alex and Christy Kennedy. CarmelKidz Round Table is themed "You Ask." Details on both below. 
  • All women are welcome in the Carmel Room from 6:30 - 7:30pm to complete an on-campus service project for a local ministry partner as part of Women on Wednesday. 
  • The Media Center is open from 5:45 - 7:45pm. Check out the great Advent resources and stocking stuffers on sale.
SATURDAY
Race/Walk for CarmelKidz
CarmelKidz Summer Camp Scholarship is a beneficiary of the David Shannon 5K and Fun Run this Saturday morning, December 16 at 10:00am.

David Shannon grew up at Carmel and actively served in CarmelKidz. His life was tragically cut short while a student at college. Since his death, David's parents, Hugh and Katy Shannon, have established a scholarship fund in David's name to honor his passion for living.

Pray for Concert

Please pray for God to be glorified as Carmel hosts the SOLD OUT Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb concert on Saturday evening. Tickets for this concert are no longer available. 
SUNDAY
Root 66 Gospel Journey
  • We continue our Root 66 journey through the Bible, exploring Luke. Arrive a few minutes early to enjoy Christmas snap shots! 
  • The scripture memory verses for the Gospels are located on the Countdown to Christmas Advent Calendar available for pick up from any welcome desk. 

 

 Opportunities to be Generous

December Collection Bins 
Beds for Kids - which provides beds and essential furniture to children and families in need - is the local ministry partner we are collecting for throughout December.  Needed Items include NEW twin and full sheet sets, blankets,
pillows, lamps  and lightbulbs.

Drop donations in the bins along the Neighbors wall in the Gathering Space.

YOU are needed to be a host/hostess for one of our 400  Joy Prom guests.   Hosts/Hostess accompany a guest throughout the evening
