Happy Thanksgiving!  On behalf of the Board of Directors and SKSF staff we wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving! This is an important time of year to give thanks to everyone that supported our organization this past year.  Whether you volunteered your time at one of our programs or an event, donated items or services, gave monetarily or just supported us with a kind word or gesture, we'd like to extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks.  Our organization and the services we provide wouldn't be possible without dedicated supporters like YOU!  Thank you!

ADULT SERVICES: GETS A NEW LIFT
As a result of an anonymous grant, a lift was recently installed for use in SKSF's Adult Services facility for both ICAN and Joey's Place programs. One of their representatives came out and trained our staff. The benefit of installing this new mechanical lift and transfer system for immobile clients is that it reduces physical stress for the client and the staff. It offers a transition from bed to commode or back.  We are grateful to have this system in place to better serve everyone involved.

ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY
SKSF Adult Services had their annual Halloween Party recently and everyone got in the act this year!  It was a SCARY GOOD time for all!  Dave Prudhomme, Myron Kingston and Sean Blair won best costumes for the Staff category.  Scott Kolman, dressed as a fireman, won best overall costume for the Adult Program Participant category.   View more images here...
