FORMED is an amazing website with something for all ages: movies, video studies, an audio bible, audiobooks, testimonies, inspiring talks, and e-books. Materials are available for adults and children, both in English and Spanish. FORMED has a phone app so that you can have spiritual food available with just one click, anytime and anywhere! As a member of Saint Patrick Parish, you are able to register as a member of FORMED for free. To register for FORMED, go to the FORMED website www.formed.org  and register yourself with our parish code, which is CPDWBD , and your email address. GIVING TREE VOLUNTEERS
We Need Your Help!
Many volunteers are needed on the weekend of December 9-10 to move Giving Tree gifts from the church to the parish center, and then to sort them for Christmas distribution.  Please offer a few hours of your time to assist with this project, which helps so many families in our community.

There will be three shifts for volunteers:
  1.      Saturday, December 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm
  2.      Sunday, December 10 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
  3.      Sunday, December 10 from 12:30 to 3:00 pm
To sign up to volunteer for one or more of these shifts, email [email protected] or call the parish office at 978-683-9416.  Simply leave your name, your phone number, and the shift/s for wish you wish to volunteer.  Volunteers will meet at the parish center for each shift.

Fifth National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry
Saint Patrick Parish has begun the process of the Fifth National Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry. This is a national initiative convoked by the Catholic bishops of the United States to support the efforts of outreach and evangelization among Hispanic Catholics. About 5,000 parishes in the country are expected to participate, involving nearly one million Catholics.

Our parish has had a leadership training for the V Encuentro process and we have formed about 15 small faith communities. More will be formed in the coming weeks. Each small faith community will follow a series of reflections about the Hispanic Catholic reality in our country. As people reflect upon the materials, all participants go out on mission activities every week, reaching out to Catholics who are not currently active in the life of the Church. This is a true evangelizing effort.

After the sessions are completed, there will be major gatherings at the parish, diocese, region, and national levels. One of the goals at Saint Patrick's is to engage young Hispanics more in the life of our parish. More information about the V Encuentro go to www.vencuentro.org.

Thanksgiving Mass
This week, we continue our parish's tradition of celebrating our primary Thanksgiving Mass on the evening before the holiday - Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Consider bringing with you to Mass canned food, which will be brought forward during the Offertory and later distributed to our hungry brothers and sisters through our food pantry. At the end of Mass, special loaves of bread will be blessed and sent home with all to be shared with family and friends on Thanksgiving Day. Join fellow parishioners for this beautiful liturgy!
Join us for our parish's annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 2 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the parish center. There is still time to offer your time and talent as a volunteer at the fair. To contact the organizers of the Christmas Fair, email  [email protected]

LISTEN TO AND SHARE SUNDAY HOMILIES

You can now listen to audio recordings of Father Paul's Sunday homilies via any electronic device and share those homilies with your family and friends. To access the homilies, go to the   "Fr. Paul's Homilies"  page  on our parish's website. The homilies are listed by date, and there are easy-click buttons to send them to family and friends via your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Blogger accounts. You will find instructions for how you can add the homily page as a button on your mobile device's home screen, so you can access the homilies with one touch on your phone. This is a great opportunity to reflect on God's Word all during the week, and to encourage your family and friends to do so!
Grand Annual Appeal

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to Saint Patrick's Grand Annual Appeal. Each autumn, we organize the Grand Annual Appeal to make up some of the difference between our parish's expenses and the income we receive through weekly offertory collections. Our goal is to raise at least $160,000 through the 2017 Grand Annual Appeal. Will you help us meet our goal? Grand Annual Appeal materials are available in the welcome centers in the church. Your sacrificial gift may be placed in the collection basket at Mass or mailed to the parish office.

STEWARDSHIP RENEWAL
Our parish is conducting our annual stewardship renewal campaign. During November and December, all parishioners are invited to consider how we will sacrifice our time, talent, and treasure to help build God's Kingdom through Saint Patrick Parish during 2018. Please make your concrete stewardship commitments for 2018 by using the stewardship materials (including Children's Stewardship Forms) that are available in the welcome centers in the church. We are eager for your assistance!

Christmas Schedule
Christmas Masses will be celebrated at Saint Patrick's in English on Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm (English) and 6:00 pm (English), at Midnight (English), and on Christmas Day at 9:00 am (English), 11:00 am (English) 12:30 pm (Spanish), and 3:00 pm (Vietnamese). Concerts of Christmas music begin half an hour before the Masses on Christmas Eve and at Midnight. Please consider who among your family and friends may not have been to church in a while, and invite them to join you at St. Patrick's for Christmas Mass!
