SPOTLIGHT ON:  Pre-Conference Course

Join us in the afternoon of  Sunday 3rd June for the 2018 PSI  Pre-Conference Course.  This year the session title will be "Demystifying Causal Inference: Assessing efficacy when patients depart from randomised treatments",  presented by Professor Ian White and Professor Sabine Landau. 

The key learning goals for this course are:
- To increase your understanding of principal stratification, described in the ICH E9 draft addendum
- To understand the concepts of causal inference in randomised trials
- To understand the statistical methods used to answer various causal questions
- How to implement the statistical methods within standard software
- How to apply the concepts and statistical methods to different clinical areas
