The world is engaged in an epic war between forces of good and evil. We need to be aware of the war, understand the enemy, and know how to wage spiritual warfare. If we aren't knowledgable and prepared, we will be vulnerable to the deceptions and temptations of Satan, the enemy of our souls. But greater is he who is in us than he that is in the world! This series will help prepare you to engage in this spiritual war and win through the power of God.

May 14 - June 18. RRC is partnering with
Alpha Family Center of Cedar Springs to raise money for their organization. Alpha Family Center is a Christ-centered ministry that serves women and families who face an unwanted, unplanned, or at-risk pregnancy. By educating women who face a crisis pregnancy, women and their families are able to make informed decisions.
To participate in the Baby Bottle Blessings fundraiser, please pray for the center, take home an empty baby bottle, and fill it with your spare change, dollar bills, or checks. Bottles will be available at RRC on Mother's Day, May 14. Please return them on Father's Day, June 18. We will return them to Alpha Family Center for you. This is a great opportunity to teach our children about sharing God's love while making a difference in the community!

Sunday, May 21, 10am. Join us for a presentation from Bethany Christian Services on the status of their Refugee Program and the needs associated with it. They will share information on how our church can be of help, especially concerning local refugee children. Adults and high school youth are invited to join us at 10:00am (between services) in the Fireside Room #253. Light refreshments will be served. (Childcare will be available)

Sundays, June 4-August 27, 6pm. Come out and enjoy some Christian music along the banks of the Rogue River in downtown Rockford. Everyone is Welcome! Christian praise music will be provided by music teams from area churches and Christian bands. Join your neighbors & friends every Sunday evening at the Garden Park stage next to the dam for an evening of fellowship and praise, and maybe a family picnic!

Saturday, June 10, starting at 8pm. You are invited to enjoy the Start of Summer Celebration fireworks from the hill at Rockford Reformed Church. Starting at 8pm, come enjoy free popcorn, refreshments, and children's activities. Please bring a chair or a blanket, your family and friends, and enjoy the beauty of the fireworks from the top of the hill at Rockford Reformed Church. Last year we had about 400 people, so come join the fun! Hope to see you there!

Saturday, June 17. Come out and support the Alpha Family Center of Cedar Springs by participating in the 22nd annual LifeWalk / 5K LifeRun through the heart of Cedar Springs. Great for the whole family as well as friends, kids, youth, serving, small, and church groups! Participants are encouraged to collect a minimum of $50 in pledges in lieu of the registration fee. Door prize donations are greatly appreciated. There will be face painting, cookies, a special speaker, and a grand finale you won't want to miss! Call us at 616-696-2616 for registration information.
