Lafayette Hall Housatonic Community College, Bridgeport, CT
Lafayette Hall at Housatonic Community College located in Bridgeport, CT is complete! Newfield broke ground in 2015 on the new four-story 47,000 square foot addition and a renovation of 35,000 square feet to support the College's Academic and Student Services Programs. The addition includes a welcome center, student services suites, two multi-purpose rooms, general classrooms, computer labs and art studios. The renovated space is home to two biology labs, an occupational therapy suite, media services, a library and several student services suites. The urban site allowed for virtually no lay-down area, therefore a creative site logistics plan was implemented to accommodate construction services.
New Dental Office in East Lyme, CT
This multi-phase renovation required abatement, demolition, site development and the construction of a new 10,000 square foot dental office, bringing a group of dental practitioners and services under one roof.

Rocky Hill School Ground Breaking
In September, Newfield Construction broke ground for the new 80,000 square foot Intermediate School. The school will house fourth and fifth grade students.

We are pleased to welcome Joanne Cotoia to the Newfield Construction Team. She will head up Newfield's pre-construction and estimating department. Joanne brings over 33 years of experience in all facets of the construction process. Before joining Newfield, she previously worked for some of the region's preeminent Construction Management Organizations in pre-construction and estimating roles, and most recently provided Owner's Project Management Services to clients throughout Connecticut.
