A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Nov. 15 to mark the completion of construction of the Sanctuary at St. Cloud. The affordable assisted living community in St. Cloud, Minnesota is scheduled to open for occupancy in January and will be managed by Gardant. Reservations for the 101 assisted living and 36 memory care apartments are being accepted.

Celebrating Making a Difference
John Evans Supportive Living in Pekin, Illinois held a 10-Year Anniversary Celebration on Nov. 16. The affordable assisted living community, which houses 76 private studio and one-bedroom apartments, was developed and is owned by Laborer Home Development. Gardant manages the community.
On hand for the celebration were Pekin Mayor John McCabe, Illinois State Senator Dave Koehler, Illinois State Rep. Mike Unes, Chamber President Bill Fleming, and Jayne Lourash of Laborer Home Development.
Residents Anne Goldberg and Patricia Bong received special recognition for having made John Evans their home for the past ten years. Also receiving special recognition were Melanie Daniels, Administrator; Marj Warren, Business Office Manager; Beth Squires, Resident Services Coordinator; and certified nursing aides Janelle Reed, Shasta Pouns, Teresa Allcock and Mindy Cross for ten years of service.
During the past ten years, more than 425 older adults have benefitted from the lifestyle available at John Evans.
