21st Annual American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Sportsmanship Tournament
Saturday & Sunday, December 16 & 17 | All City and District Fields

The 21st Annual AYSO Sportsmanship Tournament is hosted by Beverly Hills AYSO, and kicks off post-tournament play for most regions. Over 80 teams from all over Southern California are expected to play in the Tournament. For more information, www.ayso76.org.

Cactus Garden Grand Re-Opening
The Cactus Garden in Beverly Gardens Park on Santa Monica Boulevard between Camden Drive and Bedford will celebrate its re-opening in January (date to be determined).
Thanks to the generous donation of the Resnick Family Foundation, a pristine collection of historical and new cacti, and new landscaping have brought the garden to life with all its splendor. Come celebrate with us!

Registration For Beverly Hills Little League Is Underway

Registration for the 2018 Spring season of Beverly Hills Little League (ages 9-12) is now open for baseball, softball and Challenger leagues. You can register online www.bhll.net. Be sure to register by December 31, 2017 to take advantage of the 'Early Bird' discount.

Coldwater Canyon Park Renovation

The Coldwater Canyon Park Playground Renovation Project will begin in 2018! The renovation project will include the replacement of the playground equipment, a new play surface and sand area, shade components and site amenities to the entry, fencing, and picnic areas. The playground and picnic areas will be closed during renovation with anticipated reopening in late Spring 2018. Let's Talk Art

Did you know Beverly Hills has over 60 pieces of public art on display throughout the City for you to enjoy? Each month, we will learn more about one piece of artwork together. You can also take a walking tour of all the art by downloading the App Explore Beverly Hills. This month we will explore Endless V by Jaume Plensa. An 8' x 8' x 7' stainless steel sculpture of a seated human, made up of letters and characters of eight different languages. Click here to find out more about Endless V.

Community Assistance Grant Funding
The City of Beverly Hills will be accepting applications for Community Assistance Grant Funding (CAGF) FY 2018-19 beginning December 1, 2017 through February 2, 2018. Providers of services that are vital to the health and welfare of the local and regional community are invited to apply. This year, cultural grant opportunities will be offered again. Beverly Hills Homeless Count Volunteers Needed!
Wednesday, January 24 | 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. | City Hall, Municipal Gallery

Join community members, BHPD, Human Services, BH Ambassadors, and CLASP (Changing Lives and Sharing Places) for a night out in Beverly Hills. You will be trained on count procedures and will hit the pavement with a small group of volunteers to conduct the count by car. Dinner will be provided.
