FallPrevFall Preview: Thank You!

Saturday, November 18th was the second of the two Fall Preview Events. There were a lot of people who played a part in its success, from organization, to attending the event, hosting sessions, and also staying late when possible to accommodate travelers who were delayed due to the highway closure. Thank you for your flexibility and dedication to providing a memorable experience for our future students. If you have feedback about what went well, what could be improved, or new ideas to continue building on the experience, please  email Sarah Chapman.

PortalNewly Launched: Academic Consideration Request Portal (ACRP)

In September, we introduced you to the new Academic Consideration Request Portal (ACRP) that was being developed in response to the recently-approved  Senate Policy on Academic Consideration for Students in Extenuating Circumstances.

We're excited to announce that the web pages and request portal are now available. With final exams approaching, students may be looking to submit requests for academic consideration. We encourage you to direct them to this portal to submit their requests.

UnitedWay1United Way Campaign

The Queen's United Way campaign has reached 57% of its goal - staff, faculty and students are aiming to raise $320,000 to support the local United Way. Last year, more than 55,000 people benefited from United Way KFL&A  funded programs. "Every dollar donated this year helps to make a difference in our community," says Michael Fraser, Vice-Principal (University Relations) and Executive Sponsor of the committee. "For example a $20 monthly donation can provide winter boots for 170 children this winter, while a $50 monthly donation can provide one-to-one support for 63 people living with disabilities."

Show your support by using the United Way's ePledge system, simply go to queensu.ca/unitedway
