In the week since the Federal Communications Commission released a plan to scrap existing rules for internet delivery, more than 200,000 phone calls, organized through online campaigns, have been placed to Congress in protest. An additional 500,000 comments have been left on the agency's website. On social media sites like Twitter and Reddit, the issue has been a leading topic of discussion.

Amazon, Indeed, Kaiser Permanente, Nike and Toys R Us are among the top 25 companies for diversity, according to Comparably, a compensation, culture and career monitoring website.

Viva Mexico! Last weekend, Disney Pixar's animated film "Coco" soared to the top of the box office, pulling in an estimated $71 million over the five-day holiday period. The film, which tells the story of a young Mexican boy's adventures on Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, connected with US audiences just as it did in Mexico, where it opened in October and has already become the country's top-grossing film of all time.

As the world builds towards what some would regard as the near pathology sparked by a soccer World Cup, Buenos Aires-based FilmSharks Int. has sold a movie which captures soccer madness, "My Love or My Passion," to the U.S. to HBO Latino.
