This Sunday marks the beginning of Advent in the Christian church. The English word advent comes to us from the Latin noun adventus, and means arrival. Advent celebrates the arrival of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem two thousand years ago. The Advent season includes the four Sundays before Christmas and Christmas Eve.

At Arma Dei, we celebrate Advent in our chapel services as an expression of our solidarity with Christians around the world. We are also reminded that our academic institution is distinctly Christian. It is founded and grounded upon our identity as worshipers of Jesus Christ.

Colorado Gives Day

A rma Dei Academy will join other Colorado-based non-profits for Colorado Gives Day on December 5th. 100% of the money donated goes directly to non-profits with the support of a $1 million dollar incentive fund to make this a great day to give.

Mark and Engel's Communist Manifesto of 1848 will be discussed. Copies of the text are available at the receptionist desk.
Weather Closures
Arma Dei Academy takes the safety of our students, staff, parents and community members seriously. In the event of a school closure, the information will be immediately posted on the Arma Dei website and Facebook page/group. Local news stations will be notified and an emergency text alert will be sent.

We Need Your Help!

Mark your calendars for Friday, December 15. Come sing carols with us, watch student performances, and celebrate the birth of Christ. Also, join your student as they visit local retirement homes, sing, share Christmas cookies and visit with residents. Early dismissal at 12:30 P.M.

If you would like to drive, please make sure you are registered in Raptor as a chaperone (driver). If you have any questions, please contact Stacey Call, Parent Volunteer Coordinator.
