Zone 2 Members Excel at Emerging Athletes Program  National Training Session!
Congratulation to Zone 2 members who participating in the Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session Nov. 9-12 at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio! 

Kendra Duggleby earned the Champion title at the National Training Session and earned a spot at the George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session in January. As the winner, Duggleby also received a $3,000 training grant to be applied toward the cost of advanced training with an approved trainer, a trophy, a Lake Erie College saddle pad and a $5,000 Lake Erie College Scholarship.  

"I'm very excited, but it doesn't seem real," said Duggleby about her win. 

Maura Cherny and stable manager Alexis DiPasqua were part of the gold medal team in the Nations Cup competition; Isabelle Heckler was part of the silver medal team and selected to ride in one of the USHJA Gold Star Clinics; and stable manager Gabrielle Baker was part of the bronze medal team. 

Gabrielle and Alexis were also selected to attend a USHJA Gold Star Clinic as stable managers.

Matt Tracy , 12, of Pennington, New Jersey, represented Zone 2 at Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Nationals, presented by The Plaid Horse November 10-12 at the George M Humphrey Equestrian Center at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Great job, Matt!

Kenn Marash Receives Professionalism Award
Congratulations to Zone 2 members who participated in the Zone 2 Horse of the Year Hunter Championship Oct. 22 at P.A. State Farm Show Complex and Expo Center!

During the Championship, Kenn Marash was presented with the George Paterson Professionalism Award, sponsored by Hadfield Saddlery, from the Zone 2 Committee. The award is given to a deserving member of the Championship staff who plays in integral role in the success of the event.
