ISSUE 25| Dec  2017
Welcome...
With Christmas and a brand new year just a matter of weeks away, here at GLNC we're  focused on 2018 and the trends in grains and legumes for the year to come.
Staying on top of the latest trends and the research allows us to help guide all Australians with the best advice about healthy eating and the latest in grains and legumes. Read our article looking at some of 2018's biggest food trends here. We find out whether sprouting really is worth the hype, plus you can catch up on all the new research by checking out our news bites.
Our recent bread audit revealed some interesting facts too. Since our last audit in 2014 there are 20 more whole grain breads on the market and 20 fewer white loaves - a sign that Aussies are starting to enjoy grainier bread. And with so much of the research pointing to their benefits, choosing whole grain is just one of the things you can do to ensure you head into the New Year with good health on your side. Find out more here about the breads on Australian supermarket shelves.
Finally, f ollow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram   for our top tips  on including whole grains, fibre-rich foods and legumes into your festive food plan with the minimum of fuss.
Wishing all our subscribers a happy & safe Christmas and a healthy 2018!
Best wishes,
Sara
