Throughout the summer, more than 200 staff members from across DHS program offices gathered at the Human Services Building (HSB) for engaging, learning and sharing as part ofDHS Speed Networking.
412 Youth Zone continues to support, engage local youth
In March 2016, the 412 Youth Zone opened its doors and began operating as a one-stop drop-in center for young adults ages 18 to 23 who are eligible for Independent Living services or are experiencing homelessness. Now, nearly two years later, the Youth Zone continues to grow and expand in its efforts to best meet theneeds of local youth.

New infographic: How Youth Flow In and Out of Allegheny County Homeless Services
260 youth ages 18-24 used an Allegheny County homeless service between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. Examining how they flowed through the system, including where they lived before and after receiving services, helps with prevention efforts.
