Emerging Jumper Riders in the Spotlight at USHJA Zones 9 and 10 Jumper Team Championships
The Zones 9 and 10 Jumper Team Championships showcased fantastic riding ability as talented competitors faced off in team and individual competitions at the 1.10/1.15m, 1.20/1.25m, and 1.30/1.35m levels.

Held at the National Sunshine Series II (Nov 7-12) in Thermal, the USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships are also the entry point to the Jumping Athlete Pathway, a joint USHJA-US Equestrian effort that identifies and nurtures jumpers as they advance through the sport and prepare for international competition.  Additionally, all medalists in the individual competition earned the title of Gold Star Emerging Jumper Rider and an invitation to attend one of the USHJA Gold Star Clinics featuring lead clinician Richard Spooner.

The following riders, all of whom are from California, were recognized: Virginia Bonnie, Clea Caddell, Sydney Flashman, Avery Kim, Dylan Laiken, Alexa Leong, Hannah Loly, Caroline Mawhinney and Tabitha Okitsu.

"Zone 10 younger riders are incredibly ambitious, and securing these major markers is a tremendous accomplishment," said Langer.
