Engage in the Advent Season!
|
It can be difficult to slow down and see the Lord at work at this very busy time of year. To help you carve out spiritual space in the midst of all that needs to be done, we are pleased to offer to families of all ages and stages “His Name Shall Be Called: An Advent Devotional.”
Located in the foyer, this prayer booklet includes 24 brief daily devotions beginning with the introduction “What’s In A Name?” for December 1.
We encourage all of our faith family to avail themselves of this prayer booklet created in house especially for us.

A Child Is Born: Wonderful Counselor
Scripture: Isaiah 9:6-7
The Messiah is both Wonder and Counselor. He amazes us with all that he has done—just like God did with the Israelites in freeing them from Egypt—and He has no need of any other wisdom but his own.

Calling All Children!
Family Christmas Eve Service!
|
Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, so our December 24, 9:30 am worship service will be our Family Service. We will also have the Candlelight
/Communion Service that evening at 7:00 pm.
As is our custom, we will need lots of sheep, angels, and wise men to be a part of our Family Christmas Eve service!
Please contact us by
Tuesday, December 5th
, letting us know if your 3 year old – 5
th
grader will participate in the Family Service. We will need a few parents to help as well.
My prayer is that Glory is given to God as we share the Christmas story with our kids and congregation this year, and that the desire to know Christ grows in the hearts of our children as they prepare for and participate in our Family Worship service.
Thank you, Emily Holloway, Director of Children's Ministries
